Mission

The ob体育试玩 Physician Assistant Program educates a diverse student body to develop compassionate, culturally aware healthcare providers who advocate for their patients, maintain the highest quality and ethical standards of care, and recognize their obligation to care for the underserved, and fosters the advancement of and leadership in the Physician Assistant profession.

Vision

Empower Physician Assistant students to take ownership of their learning by engaging them in a transformative, highly personalized learning experience.
Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to provide PA students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to be team-based, lifelong learners.
Educate PA students to be prepared and able to adapt to the changing health care environment.

Program Goals

Goal #1

Matriculate a diverse student body with a commitment to professional involvement and service to all members of their communities.

Goal#2

Recruit qualified applicants who successfully complete medical education as a physician assistant

Goal#3

Maintain an accredited program that ensures graduates will have the requisite knowledge and skills for entry to PA practice

Goal #4

Maintain PANCE pass rates above the national average

Goal #5

Educate physician assistant students to be integral members of the interprofessional team to serve our community and meet its educational and healthcare needs.
